Festival of Lights, which takes place over almost 2 weeks in mid-October (13-24.10), became a real tourist attraction marked by a tripod-armed crowds flocking from one light-coloured object to another. There should be more than 60 objects represented in a new light, mostly in east Berlin, so presumably the best shooting spot to capture the caleidoscopic light sea would be  something like the top of Park-Inn hotel (and casino?..-wonder if photo-cameras are allowed there.:)

In addition to that on the night of 16.10, a bunch of museums will stay open making it to the long night, offering concerts of just visits at unusual hours.

Try out “night of open doors at Palais Sanssoucis, Schloss Charlottenbourg, Brauhaus Südstern, or organ music at the Dome!
